Where do we go to school?
Students enrolled at RGD/RGH go to one or other of Kvinnersta School, Risbergska School, Tullängs School or Virginska School.
Which school a student goes to depends on the student's own choice and the ranges of study programmes offered by the individual schools. Within each school, RGD/RGH has its own head, study adviser and careers officer, counsellor, school nurse, special needs teacher, school assistant and teachers. The rooms we use are designed and equipped to suit our education needs. Each school has an audiology department and class interpreters. The schools are integrated — the deaf and hard-of-hearing students share specially equipped rooms with hearing students. The RGD/RGH students work in small groups, they each have an individually designed curriculum and are supported by a mentor. They have a voice in the planning and conduct of the tuition through student representative councils and student committees.
