Feeling at home where we live
We offer our students two accommodation options: serviced apartments and private boarding arrangements.
Serviced apartments:Ekershus Hedens Hus, Hjälmarehus Rynningehus, Logen, Lundshus, Skebäckshus, Svartåhus, Wasahus, Åbackehuset. Total of 240 apartments.
Private boarding: 30 families.
Own apartment
Students in a serviced apartment block have their own apartment with kitchenette and shower/WC. Basic furniture is included, and students can have their own computer and telephone. The apartment blocks have communal kitchens where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. Residents help with cooking and other chores on a rostered basis. There are also communal lounges and laundries. Staff are in attendance in the afternoon and at night until after breakfast. Older students may prepare one or more of their daily meals themselves, in which case they are repaid part of the contribution that would otherwise go towards the communal meals. The serviced apartments are open continuously except during school vacations. All students living in serviced apartments have their own contact person, who liaises with their home and school.

Just like home
The second option is boarding privately with a family connected with Riksgymnasierna. Students live as one of the family, and rules are negotiated jointly.
Home travel
All students have 18 paid trips home each school year. Every second weekend is what is called a “home weekend”. Students living in serviced apartments may choose to stay there on weekends, in which case their free ticket may be used to bring a family member here instead.
